The “Umbrella” singer was OK with taking the financial hit because she was ready to move on a long time ago, so the $6.6 million selling price was a winner to her. The ultra-private home, set behind gates, is centrally located in the coveted Hollywood Hills above the Sunset Strip.

The seven-year-old residence boasts 7,130 square feet with six bedrooms and 10 bathrooms on almost a half-acre of land. Inside, the home is gorgeous with a villa-like feel that provides plenty of sunshine streaming in with the walls of glass. The landscaping is lush and green, giving the property a country ambiance in the big city. There are wonderful details in the architecture, from wooden-beam ceilings to marble countertops and lovely archways from room to room.

Of course, Rihanna also had plenty of A-list amenities to make the property pop — a screening room, a well-equipped gym, and a resort-like backyard, complete with a pool and spa. It’s unclear why she tried to offload this residence, but she prefers to make her Los Angeles home at The Century condo building.
