A four-bedroom home on the Mornington Peninsula with its own private tavern has come up for sale with $2.19m-$2.39m price hopes.

But the major drawcard is it's light-filled room converted into a home pub which is turning heads on the market.

It’s fully decked out with a timber bar that has two working beer taps, sitting beneath a large glass sign reading “Rancho Relaxo Tavern” — one that Homes and Acreage director Grant Perry said the vendors made in reference to an episode of The Simpsons.
There’s also a mini fridge, two wine barrels acting as high-top tables and even a slot machine, all of which are included in the sale.
Plus, the room is surrounded by floor-to-ceiling glass doors, allowing plenty of natural light through the space and providing access to a quaint courtyard outside.
Past the tavern are two bedrooms, a ‘home theatre’ currently operating as a study and a family bathroom with a freestanding claw-foot tub.
A spacious, open-plan living room leads into the farmhouse-style kitchen and dining area.
And a second lounge is accessed from the main entrance, where two further bedrooms also lie, including the main which features an ensuite and walk-in wardrobe.
The owner-builders of the home bought the sprawling block in 2008 for $290,000, according to CoreLogic.
Mr Perry said they continued to add to it over the years, including styling, furnishing and painting throughout.
He said the couple’s four children were raised at the property, which they were now selling to downsize and move up north to Queensland.
Mr Perry said it was “very much a family home” and would likely suit someone with young children as there was plenty of space “for kids to run around.”
