After the most extensive renovation in its 25 year history, Sunway Resort has unveiled eight revamped rooms and suite categories, phase one of its transformation efforts, which cost is US$60 million.
The renovations started in 2020 and the unveiling of these new rooms and suites were ahead of its upcoming 25th anniversary in September this year.
Here’s a look at the reimagined rooms that resort guests can look forward to.
The entry-level Deluxe Rooms (30 to 40 sqm) has brand new interior including a luxurious marble bathroom, premium bath amenities, beds with a choice of pillows from our pillow menu and the latest gadgetry like a 50-inch television with IPTV. The Grand Deluxe Rooms are slightly larger and come with a bathtub.
Club Rooms (40 to 50 sqm) are fitted with contemporary interiors and amenities such as a Nespresso coffee machine and a bathtub with a 21-inch TV. Another privilege that comes with Club Rooms is access to the 20th Club and soon, breakfast at Gordon Ramsay Bar & Grill – the first Gordon Ramsay Bar & Grill located outside of the United Kingdom.
These suites (58 sqm) come with additional space, contemporary interiors and the latest smart technology. The executive suites have a separate partitioned living area and are fully equipped with conveniences like Nespresso machines, IPTV and wireless charging stations to online fitness coaching and spa-inspired bathrooms. At the end of the day, guests can relax in their private whirlpool.
For grand luxury there is the Sunway Grand Suite (125 sqm) accommodate up to four guests in two bedrooms, with separate dining, living and bar areas, smart technology, a spa-inspired bathroom and personal butler service.
Other suites include the Wellness Suite, Business Suite and Premier Suites.
The next phases of Sunway Resort’s dramatic transformation will be progressively revealed in 2022, where guests can expect more themed suites, dedicated family spaces, exciting new dining destinations, reimagined leisure facilities including the swimming pool, health club and more.
