The renovation platform Houzz.co.uk reports that the average bathroom spend rose by 25 per cent in 2021. “Many homeowners are aiming to create a hotel-worthy space and spa-like experience. Relaxation is the aim and luxurious touches such as freestanding baths are up by 154 per cent,” says Victoria Harrison, the editor of Houzz.co.uk.
