There is glamping, and then there is glamping at Nightfall in Queensland's charming Lamington National Park. Here, you can bathe in an old-fashioned bathtub until your skin resembles a sultana, and next to it is a revolving wood-burning fireplace overlooking the lush tropical rainforest. Did we mention that the tent has two bathtubs? So there is no need to squeeze yourself into a clumsy pretzel shape with your bathing partner-even though it can be fun sometimes. When it's a little noisy outside, you can zip up the accessory to prevent those annoying mosquitoes from ruining the atmosphere.

If the inland area has not called you yet, it will be after you explore the Gilberton Outback Retreat at Etheridge Shire in northern Queensland. Here, you can soak in the luxurious bathtub on the balcony overlooking the winding Gilbert River. During the day, you can take a dip in the amazing egg-shaped stone bath indoors, and when the sun sets, you can dive into the rustic outdoor pewter bathtub and bathe under the stars.

Sitting on the vast rolling hills of Goulds Country, surrounded by boulders, you would think you have somehow arrived at The Keep in Scotland. This stunning square fortress provides a remedy for busy schedules and crowded social life-an outdoor bathtub carved in granite from which you can overlook the stunning (unmanned) landscape below. Pour yourself a glass of Tasmanian whiskey, put it in a locally made bathtub bomb, and you leave. You will soon feel relaxed and refreshed.

You can forget about any plans to explore Kangaroo Island, because we predict that you will not want to leave the comfort zone of the bubble round bathtub. Each of The Homestead’s free-standing Cliff Side Retreats has incredible undisturbed views of Chamberlain Gorge, with free-standing outdoor bathtubs located right on the balcony. For some scrubbing and dubbing action, this experience is great, so you will want to save this for those truly special occasions.

Amaroo Retreat & Spa is nestled in the tranquil Helena Valley jungle, offering some of the best outdoor bathing experiences, just a stone’s throw from Perth’s central business district. Each luxurious chalet is equipped with a rain-filled spa with a temperature of 32 degrees, which is pleasant. We recommend taking a dip at night in this place so you can feel more secluded.
